on the bus
The bus is leaving.
You packed you bag - sliding in way in underneath - clambering over the other bags to get yours back in the far corner. Soon your bag is trapped. Under the others - jammed into a tiny space.
And then we stand.
Amongst the other kids and their parents. Awkward. Quiet. Watching. Trying to plan out our next move. What we’re supposed to do next.

Remake
My strangely glorious week continues:
Got a movie in the mail today another friend’s company is looking to remake. He wants me to try to do a take on it. Never heard of the movie - but just finished watching it. Nice little contained action/comedy/thriller. Kind of old Coen Brothers-esque…
Could be a really fun flick.
Time to get the creative juice burning… Gotta have...

Pitch meeting
Had a meeting today with a really awesome midsized production company. They have some really kick ass projects in the works - including a beloved classic from my childhood. Their office is off Sunset - so I hit the town early - and sat in a coffee shop going over my notes.

OK. I missed this first time out.
Really really good. I don’t like Glen Close - but I love her in this. Ted Danson - top of his game. So amazing. Everyone else… really good. First 7 episode are amazing. The seams start to show a bit towards the end - but it really is amazing. And the unconventional structure really holds your attention and pays off well.
Worth it to peek it...
